I’d rather hear, “I’ll pray for you. It’s the best I can
do.” Those are true words.
Prayer is the very best thing we can do in all situations. As
children of God, He hears when we pray. He already knows what we will pray. When
we pray in His will, He has already started the answer.
Isaiah 65:24: “Before they call I will
answer; while they are still speaking, I will hear.”
Godsbless.ing: “This verse speaks to the limitless
knowledge and love of God. It conveys the idea that God is aware of our needs
and desires even before we articulate them in our prayers. It reassures us that
He is always listening and ready to respond to our heartfelt intentions. . .
The key phrases in this verse, ‘before they call’ and ‘while they are still
speaking’ reveal the immediacy and anticipatory nature of God’s response. ‘Before
they call’ signifies that God knows our needs even before we voice them. This
echoes Psalm 139:4, which says, ‘Before a word is on my tongue, you, Lord, know
it completely.’ Additionally, ‘while they are still speaking’ emphasizes the
intimate and active listening of God, reminiscent of Matthew 6:8, where
Jesus teaches that ‘your Father knows what you need before you ask Him.’”
Prayer helps us. We develop a closer relationship with God
when we pray. We gain God’s perspective when we ask for His help.
Psalm 145:18, “The Lord is near to all who
call on Him, to all who call on Him in truth.”
Studylight.org, Clarke’s Commentary: “Whoever calls
upon God in truth, with a sincere and upright heart, one that truly
desires His salvation, to that person God is nigh.”
Prayer connects us to the Holy Spirit, empowering us to live
in alignment with God’s will and receive the strength to overcome challenges.
Do the very best thing all the time. Depend on prayer. It is
your one avenue to the God who is able to do all things. There is nothing
greater a child of God can do than pray to Him. It’s the best thing!
By His Grace . . .
